Walker School/La Plaza School Adventure
This blog was created to share the story of a very special cross cultural/linguistic exchange between The Walker School along with The Westminster Schools of Atlanta, GA with the La Plaza School in Rafaela, Argentina. Our hope is that this blog will inspire you to share the beauty of your culture while having the courage to leave your comfort zone to learn about the wonderful cultures and people that shape our world today.

One Love Rafaela/Atlanta

Bob Marley, "One Love"
I chose this photo of La Plaza Students meeting with our Global Awareness Club because this informal meeting represents to me the beauty and courage of cultural and language exchanges.
Bob Marley's video and song "One Love" represents my personal perspective and outlook on life while also giving me a great deal of pride as a born Jamaican. After 3 years of participating in this exchange I truly feel that this could be our anthem. Much love to all!
ARRIVAL
Maria
My experience in Atlanta has been great. I am having so much fun! People are very nice and the school is just amazing. I love having this opportunity to meet new people and live in a different culture.
The song that reminds me of this trip is "Quiero ver amanecer" by Fabulosos Cadillacs. The reason is because it is in one of the resentations and listening to it every day will always remind me of the good times at Walker.
