Argentina Exchange 2012!

Dear La Plaza School Exchange Participants, We are only 1 week away from our big adventure! Mr. Surkan and I look forward to spending time with you all. We wish you good luck as you prepare for your final exams. Let's plan to meet briefly on Thursday at 1:30pm in the Admission Office to go over any last minute details. Walker School in Argentina

We are now just a day away from our Adventure in Argentina. Our group is completing our final plans for the trip and spending time with our families before we depart. We are all extremely excited for this chapter in the Walker/Westminster La Plaza Summer Exchange!!!!

Im having the time of my life here! Everybody is so friendly, especially the Walker kids. I do not regret being here at all and hope it doesnt go so fast. The song that reminds me of this trip is "party in the usa" because we've listened to it so many times since we are here. SOFI

I chose this photo of La Plaza Students meeting with our Global Awareness Club because this informal meeting represents to me the beauty and courage of cultural and language exchanges.

Bob Marley's video and song "One Love" represents my personal perspective and outlook on life while also giving me a great deal of pride as a born Jamaican. After 3 years of participating in this exchange I truly feel that this could be our anthem. Much love to all!

My experience in Atlanta has been great. I am having so much fun! People are very nice and the school is just amazing. I love having this opportunity to meet new people and live in a different culture.
The song that reminds me of this trip is "Quiero ver amanecer" by Fabulosos Cadillacs. The reason is because it is in one of the resentations and listening to it every day will always remind me of the good times at Walker.
